Brooke C. Frautschy, D.V.M.
Dr. Brooke joined the Peoria Area Veterinary Group on June 28th, 2010. Dr. Brooke is passionate about helping animals and their owners. She has wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a little girl and even has a framed “What I want To Be When I Grow Up” essay from when she was seven years old on her wall to remind her how far she has come. She likes working in general practice where she can see a new kitten or puppy and care for it throughout its life. She enjoys getting to see something new almost every day and is constantly expanding her knowledge, which keeps work interesting. Dr. Brooke started her veterinary career working at Dunlap Veterinary Clinic as a kennel worker and veterinary assistant while in high school. She has also worked at the ASPCA Poison Control Center, and at an emergency veterinary hospital. Dr. Brooke says, "It's great to be working as a veterinarian in my hometown with the people who helped me get where I am today!" Dr. Brooke graduated from the University of Missouri in 2006 with a Bachelors of Science in Animal Sciences. She then went to the University of Illinois and received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in May 2010. In her spare time, Dr. Brooke loves to spend time with friends and family. She loves to be outside and swim, roller blade or bike, read and spend time with her pets. Dr. Brooke shares her home with a retired racing greyhound named Delta, who is a very special dog. She also has 2 kitties: Chloe, a tortoiseshell cat who loves to cuddle, and Oliver a mischievous orange tabby who is always getting into something he shouldn't.

Jennifer M. Witt, D.V.M.
I attended the University of Illinois from 1997-2001 and received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Animal Sciences. I then stayed in good old Champaign-Urbana and attended the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine from 2001-2005 where I received another Bachelor’s of Science degree in veterinary science and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Having grown up in East Peoria, IL, I knew I didn’t want to move too far from home, so here I am in Dunlap, IL.
My favorite things to do are playing softball, reading, hanging out with friends and family and anything outdoors.
At the moment I have two guinea pigs, which are named Wicket and Wookie and a 110lb. Golden Retriever named Angus.
My husband, Aaron, and I have been married since June 24, 2006 and we were blessed with our first two-legged child, a baby girl named Kendyl last October.
